Jim founded Gibson Consultants in 2002 after careers in healthcare technology and employee benefits. At Dictaphone Healthcare and HSS (now part of Optum360), he held sales and product management positions.
At Dictaphone, he was responsible for sales of advanced speech recognition solutions to hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers in the Northeast. As vice president of sales for HSS, Jim was responsible for nationwide direct and third-party sales of coding, case mix classification, and prospective payment system (PPS) software to hospitals and the payor market.
Prior to his healthcare technology career, he spent nine years with Prudential’s group insurance division in its New York offices in sales, sales management, and hospital contracting. Jim was responsible for account management for the eastern region of MHN, a managed behavioral health company.
Jim has an M.B.A. in Financial Management and Business Economics from Pace University, and a B.B.A. in Marketing from St. Bonaventure University.

Margaret Stamatis is the Chief Administrative Officer at Gibson Consultants. She joined Gibson Consultants in 2013 as part of its research department specifically assisting the executive Search Consultants with candidate searches. Since joining the company, her responsibilities have grown to include marketing initiatives, operations, accounting, human resources, and special projects for Gibson Consultants.
Prior to joining Gibson Consultants, Margaret enjoyed a 20-year career in marketing, notably sponsorship consulting and national consumer promotions. Most recently she led a team as Vice President at Team Epic, a sport sponsorship agency matching clients with sponsorship properties and activating sponsorships to advance brand objectives. Her responsibilities included client and property lead, contract consultation, athlete negotiation, internal P&L and client activation budgets, analysis of property opportunities, and overall management of event activation teams.
Margaret holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School, an M.S. in Sport Management from UMass Amherst, and a B.A. from Trinity College.
Lizzie Brunner is an Executive Search Consultant for Gibson Consultants specializing in Healthcare Software Product Management.
Before joining Gibson Consultants, Lizzie served as a volunteer and leader in a variety of organizations earning awards for her excellence in achievement. In these roles, she served as a voice for her constituents, an advisor on future growth and development, and budget manager.
Lizzie takes great pride in working closely with people and helping others become better leaders as well. Her dedication to better serve her community by revamping organization constitutions and providing educational, cultural, and social programming positions her as a leader in Gibson Consultants executive search business. Shari Jernstrom is a Senior Consultant specializing in the payor and group insurance market.
Shari’s career spans over 25 years of providing Human Resources leadership for several dynamic and pioneering information systems, internet and digital media companies. Prior to joining Gibson Consultants, Shari held a variety of senior HR roles at America Online (AOL), PSI Net, formerly the world’s largest internet hosting company, and several computer/information systems companies.
Shari is passionate about her role in building organizational capability through sourcing, hiring, onboarding and engaging the best talent possible. She has led many training classes on effective interviewing skills and advising her management teams on how to assess all aspects of a candidate’s capabilities, personal attributes, behavioral characteristics and ability to fit into the culture of the company.

Prior to joining Gibson Consultants, Chase developed the Community Music Academy at UNCW and served as Program Assistant managing the daily operations. He also worked at a local consulting company providing research, business analysis and efficiency recommendations.
Chase is a former college student-athlete High Jumper and was captain for UNCW Track & Field program. He is successful in being a team leader and uses his talents to help people with furthering their careers in healthcare.

As general manager, Betsy was responsible for a 1.2 million-member health plan, which was rated the #1 plan in the state by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. Directing a staff of 240, Betsy oversaw departments that included Medicare and commercial sales and service, provider relations, network management, quality management and local operations.

He sold electronic medical record and practice management solutions into the physician market for Misys Healthcare Systems.
Working with a boutique PR firm, Joe specialized in market research planning, communications consulting, and relationship management for unions, healthcare companies, government agencies, and other public-sector organizations.

Michelle is an integral part of the team in Wilmington. She is actively engaged in assisting with research for client prospects for outbound marketing efforts and sourcing candidates. She helped launch the company headquarters in Wilmington, including organizing the company training program. At the university, she is actively involved in the Cameron Executive Network Mentor Program, Honors College, serves as a Study Abroad Ambassador, and member of the Fellowship Christian Athletes. Michelle was accepted to the Cameron School of Business and was awarded to join Beta Gamma Sigma, a national business honor society, where she was highly recognized from the Cameron School of Business for her academic achievements.
