Prior to joining Gibson Consultants, Stan Baron had international healthcare experience, having spent 30 years in senior management and sales and marketing positions in the dental industry, both in the US and abroad.  Over this period he had been engaged in the transition of dentistry to digital imaging and the extensive adoption of the electronic patient record. He is therefore aware of the information technology issues facing the medical environment, such as the transition to EHRs. 

Stan brings business consulting experience with numerous start-up healthcare technology companies, along with operational experience at the “C” level, which helps him appreciate the challenges facing HIT vendor executives. Executive search is not new to him, as his wife has been in executive search for over 10 years in the field of market research. 

Apart from his search efforts in the United States, Stan will be bringing the services of Gibson Consultants to foreign healthcare technology companies requiring executive and management talent in the US market.
