Joe is a Senior Consultant focused on placing senior executives in the payor and group insurance market.
Prior to joining Gibson Consultants, Joe held sales and sales management positions. Starting as a sales representative targeting the military-resale market, he rose to area manager, responsible for 50+ salespeople, 85 different lines of consumer products, and the top region in sales volume.
After starting as a sales representative targeting the military-resale market, Joe spent the next seven years in healthcare technology, where he successfully sold speech recognition solutions for Dictaphone Healthcare. Joe held a national sales management position and served as a “new technology champion”, promoting Natural Language Processing and Coding products. He sold electronic medical record and practice management solutions into the physician market for Misys Healthcare Systems.
Working with a boutique PR firm, Joe specialized in market research planning, communications consulting, and relationship management for unions, healthcare companies, government agencies, and other public-sector organizations.
Joe received his B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) from La Salle University.
